A Murder Mystery evening raised a fantastic £3,830 when 70 supporters were joined by 12 actors from Rugby Theatre.

The cast acted out scenes with clues to whodunnit during the course of the evening which included a medieval menu prepared by the Chef’s Kitchen.

The evening was hosted by Friends Trustee Tracey Lennard and the script was written by Alan Wiggins, one of the Friends Fundraising team who put so much effort into making all the events they run so entertaining.

Nicky Main, who is a member of Rugby Theatre and helped Tracey organise the event, said “All the actors have said they had a great time and I know they would all be keen to get involved in something similar next year.”

Willy Goldschmidt said “It was a great evening. Special thanks go to Nicky Main, who not only recruited the actors from Rugby Theatre but also secured an extremely generous donation and matching funds of £2,165 from her employer’s charity Healthy Hope from Holland & Barrett. It is fabulous to get such support from the local community and a major Midlands company as well.”
