On Saturday the 15th November, the Friends held a Christmas Bazaar at Arnold House in the town centre and the appeal fund is rapidly closing in on halfway to its initial target of raising at least £60,000!

Joan Jesson, President of the Friends of St Cross welcomed visitors to the Bazaar which was officially opened by Jamie-Lee Winch who congratulated the Friends on their achievements to date and in particular on the honour of receiving the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. The Mayor and Santa were also in attendance and greeted many of the visitors.
